Liz & Eddi The Old Marylebone Town Hall & The Ivy Wedding
Elizabeth and Eddi’s city wedding was the perfect blend of style, personality, and London charm. They chose to tie the knot at one of the capital’s most iconic town hall ceremony venues, known for its grand steps, architectural curves, and timeless stonework. It’s a dream location for my modern editorial approach, clean lines, killer light, and room for true-to-life moments to unfold naturally.
Before the ceremony, we wandered through the backstreets of Marylebone, taking the quieter routes filled with character, texture, and those beautifully understated corners that work perfectly for contemporary portraits. The area has this effortless London cool about it, which suited them completely. They’re a couple with incredible taste, so it’s no surprise they picked a photographer whose style aligned with the vibe they wanted: modern, raw, and unobtrusive.
The ceremony itself was intimate, filled only with their closest people. Small weddings hit differently, there’s less noise, more connection, and the atmosphere is relaxed but meaningful. With the architecture doing its thing, and the energy between the two of them being so natural, portraits inside and outside came together with ease. London town hall weddings genuinely pair perfectly with my way of shooting, editorial frames, real sound, real reactions, and no forced moments.
After the confetti and congratulations, we walked as a group down to a nearby pub for a quick celebratory drink. That short walk gave us some of the best frames of the day, street textures, natural light, movement, and all the candid interactions that make city weddings so unique.
From there, we made our way to their reception at The Ivy, a venue known for its sleek interiors, iconic design, and luxury dining experience. It was the perfect match for them: stylish, relaxed, and full of character. Drinks, laughter, incredible food, and a couple who knew exactly how to curate a day that felt authentically theirs.
Elizabeth and Eddi chose every detail with intention, and it showed. A modern London wedding with personality, elegance, and all the right kind of energy, captured in a way that reflects exactly who they are.
