Modern London Highgate Wedding Photography - H & A Photos

St Michael’s Highgate Church & Highgate Boys School, London

Helen & Andrew’s wedding in Highgate, London was effortlessly elegant, with a relaxed, modern energy running all the way through the day.

They were married at St Michael’s Church, sitting at one of the highest points in London, with sweeping views across the city setting the tone for what was to come. After the ceremony, everyone made their way to Highgate Boys’ School, where the space had been completely transformed with flowers, streamers and thoughtful details that made it feel both stylish and personal.

From emotional moments and beautifully honest speeches to golden light, big laughs and a packed dance floor, the day flowed naturally from start to finish. A true North London wedding — romantic, fun, and full of life.

Helen & Andrew’s wedding felt like one of those days that never really stood still — it just kept unfolding naturally.

From the quiet moments before the ceremony at St Michael’s Highgate Church, to the energy of the evening back at Highgate Boys’ School, everything about their day felt relaxed, intentional and completely them. There was so much genuine connection woven through the day — in the way people spoke about them, in the hugs, the laughter, the looks between moments.

As the light faded and the music took over, the day shifted into something louder, messier and full of movement. The kind of evening where ties loosen, shoes disappear and nobody wants to leave the dance floor.

Weddings like this are exactly why I photograph the way I do — letting things breathe, following what’s really happening, and telling the story as it actually felt.

Helen & Andrew, thank you for trusting me to document it.
