On the 10th of October 2020, during a time when weddings looked a little different, Aron & Kelsie gathered their closest 12 inside The Library at Bix Manor. A small ceremony, a warm reception, and the kind of atmosphere only micro weddings can create. When the world slows down, connection becomes the main event — and theirs was full of it.

The Library, with its cosy character and old-world charm, became the heart of the day. Soft autumn light filtered through the windows, guests filled the space with quiet excitement, and the whole room carried that unmistakable sense of closeness. With food provided by the brilliant team at Fingers & Forks, the celebration felt personal, thoughtful and deeply rooted in what mattered most to them.

I was invited along for a few hours to document it all, the candid glances, the nerves before the ceremony, the joy once vows were exchanged, and the small, beautiful in-between moments that often go unnoticed. Micro weddings have a way of revealing those moments effortlessly. With fewer people and fewer distractions, you get to witness the genuine, unfiltered connections between everyone in the room.
